Denise learned about Acupuncture and alternative medicine first hand as a patient. She went through 15 years of not feeling well going to doctor after doctor. Finally, she decided to try the Holistic approach after 3 weeks of herbs, dietary rotation, and acupuncture treatments she felt better than she had ever felt. After such an experience she decided there is something to Holistic Health and this will be her path in the future.

What is Acupuncture:
Chinese Medicine is a complete medical system that has diagnosed, treated and prevented illness for over twenty-three centuries. The goal of this dynamic and integrated health care system is to activate the natural, self-healing abilities of the body. While it can remedy ailments and alter states of mind, Chinese medicine can also enhance recuperative power, immunity and the capacity for pleasure, work, and creativity.
can treat
Nutrition can treat:
I help individuals struggling with gas, bloating, fatigue, diarrhea, brain fog, ADHD, and more. We can resolve your issues by focusing on gut health. Together, we’ll focus on an individual holistic plan to enhance your health, well being, and joy using healing supplements and specific foods for your body so you can enjoy life without the gut symptoms you’re currently having.

“You Are What You Eat” The old proverbial saying. Over the past several decades, emerging scientific evidence about health and nutrition has resulted in changing food consumption patterns in the US. Nutrition and life style encourages more time and effort be spent on disease prevention instead of waiting to treat disease once it manifests. “Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food” - Hippocrates!

Acupuncture is based on the assumption that Qi courses through channels, or meridians, in the body just as water flows from spring, to stream, to river and to sea. Qi is our energy force for movement, thinking, feeling and work. Thin, solid, sterile stainless steel acupuncture needles are inserted into acupuncture points invigorating Qi.

The Gut, technically, is the gastrointestinal tract or digestive system - a pathway from our mouth all the way to the rear. Gas, bloating, fatigue, constipation, brain fog and more. Low grade inflammation could be the cause of pain, tenderness or diarrhea. There are between 500-1,000 bacterial species within the GI tract. The bacteria, viruses and fungi that live in the gut may be beneficial, harmless, or harmful.

A huge proportion of our immune system is actually in our GI Tract. 70-80% immune cells are present in the gut. The gut microbiome plays and important role in the body responding to injury or infection.
The concept of intestinal health influencing our overall health dates back thousands of years. Hippocrates stated that "all disease begins in the gut"

Moxibustion is a form of heat therapy applied to acupuncture points or certain locations on the body. The material used is mainly “moxa wool” made from the mugwort plant, a species of chrysanthemum, Artemisia vulgaris. This treatment strengthens the activity of the body cells, reduces inflammation, and strengthens the adrenal glands and immune system.

Herbal medicine has powerful healing properties. Western drugs control symptoms but does not affect the whole body. For example: antibiotics eliminate bacteria but does not help the immune system to fight off future infection. Herbs treat the underlying condition and rarely cause side-effects. Herbal medicine is made from whole food supplements that provide nutrients for the body to maintain balance and homeostasis. Herbal remedies are phytotherapeutic and nutritional.
